I am attending the December 12th 2009 recital of Renee Fleming. Above all her voice and beauty take my breath away and I am a gay man. Only one opera star has ever moved me like this and that voice belongs to Mirella Freni. She and she alone allowed me to fall in love with opera..especially Italian and French.
Renee Fleming has taken me to yet another level of appreciation. I have seen her in opera and film and now it will be her recital at Dorothy Chandler.
Her Thais is beyond gorgeous and her Bel Canto CD is ever playing in my home.
I WANT TO MEET HER!!!
I want most of all to be ably to meet Ms. Fleming face to face. Just for a few minutes to greet and express appreciation and get her personal autograph.
Does anyone know of anyone or any way to help make this happen for me?? I will be there in the orchestra in December. I am not a sicko stalker. I am a good,responsible professional that would love to be in her presence.. PLEASE HELP!!!

Total agreement about the superb Renee Fleming and also Mirella Freni. I heard Fleming sing La Traviata in London this summer and years ago heard Fireni sing La Traviata in Vienna. Both were memorable but Fleming is also a great, great actress, whose final death scene will never be forgotten once you've experienced it.
Ms. Fleming's LA concert is not to be missed! She is very gracious with fans and usually will greet them after the opera. Ask the staff where to stand before you sit down.
Good luck in meeting her. Bring your own felt tip for signing and camera. Sometimes she will take a moment and pose with you if the crowd of fans is not that large. Fleming is a angel in person and in heavenly sound.
